Shine is a personal development program with an inspirational, and practical approach to learning.

For each girl to develop understanding of her own personal worth, strength and purpose and realise the potential within her to fulfil her desires.

FOUNDATIONAL CONCEPTS

Worth
I have Worth! 'Body and Soul, I am marvellously made'

The focus for these sessions is for each participant to understand for themselves that they are valuable. Their uniqueness is something to celebrate and they have been wonderfully made.

Strength
I have Purpose! 'I have a hope and a future'.

Purpose is examined through exploring hopes, dreams and desires. Goal setting, discussions on potential and talents and practical activities are used to equip and build confidence to live out a purpose-filled adventurous life.

Swansea High School

The Shine Girl programme will be facilitated by Life Church in Swansea High year 9 starting at the commencement of the second term of the school year 2010 and continuing throughout the year. Parents and students should consult the Welfare Head Teacher at Swansea High for details of the course and for further information.
